Sun Ray – Colorful Original Abstract Painting

Sun Ray is a colorful original abstract painting by Greek-American contemporary artist Gregory Christeas. Part of his Parallels Series, this one-of-a-kind artwork combines vibrant yellow, red, green, orange, and blue in an expressive composition filled with movement, texture, and luminous energy.

About Sun Ray – The Parallels Series

Sun Ray explores the relationship between color, light, and the viewer’s imagination. Brilliant passages of yellow and orange suggest bursts of sunlight, while deep blues, electric greens, and powerful reds create dramatic contrasts. The intricate layers invite collectors to explore the painting beyond its initial impression.

Created using specialty metallic and fluorescent acrylics on canvas, this original artwork reveals subtle changes in appearance as surrounding light shifts throughout the day. Different colors, reflections, and textures become more prominent, making each viewing experience unique.

A Colorful Original Abstract Painting for Collectors

This colorful original abstract painting offers an energetic presence for contemporary living rooms, private collections, creative spaces, and modern interiors. Its rich contrasts and layered surface make it an expressive statement piece that encourages personal interpretation.

Rather than presenting a recognizable subject, Sun Ray invites viewers to discover their own connections within its abstract forms. Areas of color interact through tension, balance, and unexpected transitions, continuing the exploratory approach that defines Christeas’ work.
