Original Abstract Painting – Syntagma Square –– The “Impressions of the Parthenon” Series by Gregory Christeas was inspired by memories of the Parthenon—a timeless symbol of light, form, and endurance. Painted with industrial oils on heavyweight paper, these works capture shifting reflections and bold abstractions that evoke both sea and stone. More than twenty paintings emerged from this vision, first exhibited at the Cultural Olympiad in Athens, 2004.
